The Organization for Disaster Management Society (ODMS) successfully hosted a high-level seminar on "Roadmap for Mainstreaming Climate Resilience in Urban Planning" on May 16, 2026, at the Circuit House, Chattogram!

The seminar brought together top government policymakers, administration officials, leading academics, and environmental experts to map out a sustainable, data-driven future for our coastal metropolis.

 Key Highlights:

ODMS CE, Muhammad Matiur Rahman Chowdhury Milton, shared our plan to plant 1-Lakh trees to create a coastal "Bio-Shield".

Chief Guest Mohammad Shamim Sohel (Additional Secretary, Cabinet Division) stressed the urgency of climate-resilient city planning.

Keynote Speaker Professor Dr. Md. Manzoorul Kibria urged for reclaiming natural canals and modernizing urban waste management.

Session Chair Professor Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam called for a strong bridge between academic research and field execution.
